lidl went early ,none in local store.phoned customer help number and was told that there was no delivery to uk stores of satellite receiver and dish

There was about 20 in store in Barry South Wales at 09:15 today. No rushing to buy them but did see 2 go while I was there.

yes i did ,she said she never had any so i came home and phoned the customer no on website,to try to find out nearest store with any left and the woman said had problem with suppliers and uk stores never got delivery going to phone them back right now. thanks for that!!!!

thanks for the replies, phoned them up and they dont understand why he said that ,so (chris)phoned my local stores for me and i got the last one kept by for me in falkirk..... thanks again

Hi Guys I also tried to get one this morn ,I arrived at our local store at 8-05 am to find none on the shelves, I asked if they had any and they said yes we have them in the office, They went to get one for me but came back and said sorry we have sold out, as all the stores only had a couple each to sell, I came home and sent Lidl a polite but firm e-mail stating I was not happy, I await their reply. Local store is in Stoke

I did get a polite phone call today from lidl from their custom complaints dept, she appoligised for not having any stock left, but did explain why,

 Last year they sold the sat dish for £69-99 in all stores and decided to sell any left over stock at half price this week, which is why they didnt have many to sell, she was very appologetic, I told her it is not the end of the world and thanked her for replying ,

I went to the store as soon as it opened and was told the staff had bought them, typical!! Sure someone will have similar on offer soon.

i got one - last night - it was a return and they said the original buyer couldn't get a signal, so i thought i would give it a go with my technally minded oh, and yes he got it working, but not without a lot of slog, as the instructions are complicated. it did however keep him amused for 5 hours last night

We got one from one of the Aberdeen stores on Tuesday. We were staying on a site where the television reception was almost non-existant. After a little bit of adjustment we then had a perfect picture with a choice of channels including our local ITV. Well worth the £29.99, we are now on another site further site and the television reception is first class so not using the dish. Great to have it for emergencies.

My local Lidl was cleared out at 8:15. No surprise that there are loads of the things on Ebay at £50 +.
