Hi Mike, just removed a Freschor unit from an old caravan we bought to use for a building project in the Limousin 30 mins SW of Limoges. I replaced the unit with a skylight because I had to replace all 3 others too. We now have lots of light and hopefully enough fresh air to keep the van dry. As far as I can ascertain the Freschor unit is a simple evaporation unit with a biggish fan, it can be used as an extractor too. In air con mode it simply draws air over some absorbant pads that produces cooling through simple evaporation of the moisture on the pads. I cannot figure out how it works to be honest because ours had only one pipe which I assume was for drainage of excess water but could well have been an auto feed which pumped water to the evaporator pads!! Either way I decided to replace it with something I do know how to operate, ie a skylight. Besides, the van roof was very wet as is the back of the van. We have ripped out the bathroom and I will need to replace all the rear wooden framework where the bottom of the rear panel and the upper one which also forms part of the old bathroom skylight. I decided to replace it across the whole van rather than splicing it in. We will need it to last 3 years, anything more than that will be a bonus.

Hope that helps with the mystery of your 'air-con' unit. I haven't been able to find anything online that could be described as a manual but if you send me a link I am happy to translate it from French to English for you.
All the best for 2016, Paul Cahill
