Hello good morning, we are new to the site..and have picked up some wonderful hints, tips and actually FINALLY made a decision on which tent to go for(we were down to 3 choices)!! So thankyou for that!

We had a lovely time last night-looking at our purchases that i made from Aldi last night..and im so pleased with them that i am left wondering if i should have bought the stove they are selling at the moment.

Does anyone have any experience with them? Especially maybe compared to something of the same type? i.e camping gaz? Any thoughts would be gratefully appreciated.. many thanks in advance!

To be honest they are all pretty much the same. The camping gaz stove does pack down a little but that's about all and the aldi one has no wind sheild but if you bought the kitchen stand you wont need one anyway.I had one 2 years ago, they are ok but didn't think much of the grill.

my mate has the camping gaz one and i don't think the grill is up to much on that one either.

Thankyou for your advice. As you have pointed out, there is no wind shield and this has probably made my mind up... i didn't buy the kitchen as previous posters had mentioned nearly losing fingers..

but i did buy a cupboard, coolbox, folding shovel and air pump! So impresssed with the cupbard i intend to buy the taller one too!!!

Regards, Claire.

The cupboards are good i found the shelves bend if you put tins of food on them so i strengthened them.Bought them last year so the design may have changed for this year, still great value.

We have the camping gaz chef stove which we are very pleased with, the grill isn't up to much but we don't make much use of it any way. We use it with a calor gas cylinder in UK and camping gaz one in Europe. I noticed yesterday when passing our local Yeomans store that they are doing a good offer at the moment.   Link
It is worth noting that different companies sell this in various packages such as with/without a storage bag, with/without a regulator/pipe/clips.

According to the comments/feedback this seems to come with everything and the pans as well - but worth checking first.

We have the pans.. they are big and much heavier than normal pans which suits us fine.  Most of the time we don't take the larger one unless we expect to be catering for a larger group than the 3 of us.  They are enamlled rather than the lightweight aluminium usually used for camp cookware.

got the yeomans offer today instore. cannot fault it. the pans are good quality.I see what you mean about the big pot, we may use that at home lol.
only thing is the cooker doesnt come with a storage bag despite some reviews suggesting it did. still worth buying though.you do get the pipe and clips but no regulator. I have one at home anyway so wasnt a problem.
