Hi, visiteda CC site and plugged laptop with digital tv stick into the (digital) boosted aerial but all I got was black screen and scratchy noises. So there was a signal but something not quite right. At home plugged into normal aerial, with booster, works just fine. Anyone any idea what is going on. I previously stayed on CC site but that had analogue signal, so no result at all.

Try a higher gain aerial with at least 43 dB gain - alternatively you may well not have set your aerial high enough or you are a little too far from the transmitter17

Hi thanks for reply, I obviously didn't explain myself. I haven't got an aerial. I was using the on site CC aerial with booster. It's an aerial socket thingy next to the hook-up. We usually just watch dvds but took my aerial lead as I knew CC site would have this facility but no luck.

Apologies for the misunderstanding! You will most definitely need a high gain boosted aerial. My previous advice still stands - it worked for me!
