Yes the green were limited to the family camping week I think. £29 was an excellent buy as they are normally around £45 (although end of season you'll get one for around £30). My only advice would be to buy one which has both a lead for the car AND a lead for normal 240v socket. The cheaper version just tend to have the car lead which works fine BUT if you leave it plugged in for an extended period of time you may find the 12v plug get's very hot and begins to melt. Most advise not leave on for more than 48 hours without a rest. We ran our outwell using the 240v lead for a straight 7 days no problem. Outwell is expensive but in my opinion good quality kit
Hi.
Thanks for the replies.
I was also looking at the Waeco U15, I know it is smaller at 15 litres but it has the advantage of taking up less space, not sure if it is supplied with an electric lead though.
The Outwell ones cool and heat , I don't know if other coolboxes do that as well , we bought two in the sales for that purpose , so that if we have hot food and want to go out we can keep one for cold drinks and another for warm food .
