how reliable are these tv signal direction indicators and where can you get one

I usually do that but with most  new caravans having the omni directional ariels its becoming harder to get a good idea of where the majority are pointed. Not so much of a problem on CC sites as I just look at where the wardens extended ariel is pointing. If they are not very good then I will just stick with the trial and error.
