We loaned out our gazebo to my wife's sister last week along with some other items of camp kit.

Ours WAS a B&Q one which I thought was quite sturdy, we added extra guy lines using big steel pegs, put extra eylets in the sides to anchor down with extra pegs but it is now floating round the Scilly Isles some where after the weather in Cornwall took it's toll.

Now we need to replace it. Any suggestions please as to what with?

Regards & happy camping Frank & Kathy

If you want something a bit more srurdy, take a look at the Sunncamp daytent.they're about £100, but might be cheaper at this time of year.

I have just (today!) brought a Kyham Ridgi-Dome Garden Shelter which is wind tunnel tested (apparantly). Seems very sturdy but I caught my fingers in leg mechanism FOUR TIMES while erecting it !

It bloomin' hurt!

Hi,

We bought just a run of the mill gazebo from Argos and always use heavy duty straps to hold the thing down with, has always worked a treat.
