Now we've got our EHU how can we use our electric coolbox with only a plug-in car adaptor on the mains EHU?

you can buy an adapter we got ours from halfords but any 12v adaptor to mains would do

be vigilant and get a 5 amp one at least ,we picked up a cooler and adaptor at a boot fair and found it ran hot ,turns out its 4 amp which is bordering on the coolers need!!
strange cooler a halfords one (i only wanted the lead but for £3 got the lot) it has a very deep lid so most of the space is wasted ,it lives in the car for popping the frozen stuff in shopping it has no practical use for camping as far as i can see

Thanks all!

Went to Aldi and got a new coolbox for car or EHU at £35! Was advised at a camping shop that to try and convert a 12v back to 240/230 is poor. I'll tell my hub that I've spent more money later!

Just got back! Cooler worked great. Wine, carlsberg and Jacques were all lovely n cool! (butter too hard tho!)
