Hi

Can any one advise the best way to get freeview/ normal channels on either of these 2 above. My portable DVd player has a USB hole, av in and out and laptop has all this and more.

We will not have internet access. What do i need to buy to get tv. And also i will be in newquay area ish of cornwall so i need a brilliant ariel i presume. any ideas on that too.

I know this isnt any ones cup of tea but it is mine and i wanna watch if its pouring it down outside.

If you go to pc world they do a kit and you load in cd and puts tv on your laptop comes with aerial costs around £55.

We ended up buying a 20inch lcd tv with freeview built in can get them dirt cheap now, we use in spare room at home when not away

we have a lcd tv at home with built in freeview so i could just take that but what about Reception?

And do you worry about condesation and damp at night or not?

For reception you can check that out with the post code of where you are staying.

For the damp etc make sure you have the proper RCD protected hook up there is a thread on this site but don't have the link.

This is the sort of thing you need for your laptop - I have no idea how well they work (some reviews say they are rubbish, others say they are great) but can't go to wrong for £12
