If you buy kit from aldi - it will be OK to a point
You get what you pay for an no more !!!
As for the Camping Chef.............well its a legend in its own right - its been around for ever -- is reasonable to buy - will always bring good money second hand - and it works !!! - its no frills and it is far better than those breifcase type make-do stoves
Got aldi camping kitchen last year and it was a god send for my back! Campingaz double burner with grill fits perfectly. Found the Briefcase style fine for boiling a kettle but my Campingaz double burner and grill wins hands down for me.
We bought one a couple of years ago but found that you need 2 people to open and close it down, otherwise you are in serious danger of losing fingers!! But it was pretty sturdy when up.
Which camping kitchen are you talking about? Adi do the concertina stand or the camping kitchen that comes with a work surface and 4 shelves and is covered underneath with material.
I didn't like the concertina one as I felt it was a bit wobbly but I recently used the camping kitchen with shelves and work surface at a fete for storing items and it seems really sturdy.
Got one last year, and is still going strong. I managed to put it up on my own, however, it can be a bit hit and miss, so start practicing at home first so that you get the hang of it.

are aldi selling these at the moment?
can see anything online.
looking for one with a larder.
There were a few left when I popped into the Aldi in Thetford, Norfolk, while I was up there a couple of weeks ago.
Like Lidl's, they may still have previous weeks' offers in stock in the stores, even when you can't see them on their websites.
Only way to be sure is to pop into your local Aldi, good luck!

didnt get the kitchen as all they had was the concertina one- which i didnt want.
did get a really great camping cupboard though only £30, I will store the food in there and carry on cooking on the table as i have before. just think i will get a windshield for the table as that was my other reason for wanting a camp kitchen.
thanks for making me think of aldi, its really good quality, apart from the velcro which i can see coming off if you are too rough as its not sewn on that well- but its not an important part. its really sturdy and had a hard top so can use as a side table unlike any other cupboards i have seen in the same price range.
