Hello

We've just got our Vango Carrera 600 and would like the Vango windbreak in sage to match it.  Has anyone seen these at a good price anywhere?

I have just purchase the smoke and black windbreak from Outdoor 4 u  and thier service was  first class. The price was great at just 39.99 for the six ploe version. I have included the link to their web site for the green version.

We got a 4 pole Laurel/Sage from Somerset Camping last month for £22 + del. They don't stock a 4 now but are still showing a 6 at  £33.99 + del

BTW, best either bray the wire pegs right in so they don't twist round and loose the guyline, or use bigger pegs with proper hooks. Ours blew over in last weeks gales due to pulling the pegs round and loosing the line.

Where Did you get the Carrera 600 from please - I looked and looked and no one had them - 400s  800s but no 600s - and what do think of it -  looks fab to me !

Thanks for the replies - looks like more research ahead!!

Simon W - we got the Carrera from Sports Warehouse - http://www.sportswarehouse.co.uk/acatalog/Vango_Carrera_600_Tent.html.  They were selling at £549 but I said I had seen it online for £549 (though it was out of stock) so they said the best they could do was £475.  They're local to us (well, only 20 miles away) but they don't actually keep the Carrera in stock so it comes direct from Vango.

They gave us free postage and the tent arrived in perfect condition in under a week, including a bank holiday Monday so we were delighted.  It's only had a test pitch in the garden so far, just to make sure it was OK and it looks wonderful!!  So excited about going away in it - if only we could find that windbreak...!

Would definitely recommend the Carrera so far and will post a full review once we've been able to pitch properly (garden just too small to have it completely straight or for any of the side guylines to be pegged out), and we would also recommend Sports Warehouse.  We've been using them for nearly 20 years and their service is superb.

Phoned Go Outdoors and they say they have the 6 pole version, in sage, in stock for "about £35".  A colleague got this one and she's delighted with it.

We're going away this weekend and I've left it too late to order online so looks like there will be a slight detour to Go Outdoors...
