We are going camping in the new forest this summer (yay!!) and have decided to take the plunge and take the trailer with us, to put our 4 bikes in. When discussing this with a friend, he said i would need to seperate the bikes, as by the time we got there (approx 5 hrs drive) they would have fallen to pieces!!
So, before i go panicking and try to convert my box trailer, has anyone got any experience in this matter? Do i just try to protect the frames as much as i can? I dont think a bike rack is going to be an option, as the car feels loaded enough with the boot full and the roofbox on. Oh, and i am going to be putting things like body boards and wetsuits in the trailer too.
Any advice would be gratefully received
------------- why haven't they invented silent opening zips??!!
