Ive been looking around for a good 'stove / grill', i dont have one of those big gas bottles so i was wondering about a propane one like the Coleman stoves use - 'Coleman Pefect Flow Propane Stove & Grill' (See here - http://www.harrissportsmail.com/Models.aspx?PartnerID=4&ModelID=16960 )
Has anyone got one of these propane stove/grills? or used one? What do you guy's use? Any advice which one to buy?
Looks interesting if a bit pricey. I simply use a suitcase stove and a CampingGaz Partygrill. Both use small (but different - that's a negative) canisters.

All comments appreciated.
Saw these in a camping store recently.
They look nice but have you seen the price of the fuel?
It was €18 for 2 cans and each one lasts around an hour !
What about a Coleman duel fuel stove?
Absolutely fantasic and cheap to run (unleaded petrol is the cheapest or you can se Coleman fuel or Aspen 4T)
Thankyou Spampman, we already have the portable stove, actually we hve 2, just wanted to upgrade a little bit.
I would like a good Stove (without the use of the big gas bottles) a Grill and maybe a bbq, i must admit last year we ate out most days but it works out really expensive, lol, so we want to be more adventerous and cook more at the tent..
I know its not cheap - but I would definately go with the Coleman One on your link - the gas is expensive - but so is campinggaz - you will be surprised how much cooking you will get out of this unit - Looks the Business to me ! just wish I hadnt invested in the big Gaz bottle.
I know the camping Gaz Chef units have been around for donkeys years, but I cant say I rate mine that highly - old technology - you need matches or a lighter - flimsy grill - and they look awful unless you really keep on top of them,
I can recommend the colemans 424 dual fuel stove. It heats a kettle of water in minutes, as good as any kitchen gas ring. Runs on unleaded petrol and a 1 litre tank lasts ages.
Maybe a little difficult to get hold of, check e-bay, I got a brand new one for £60 including postage and I am more than happy with it.
------------- I want to be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows I'm dead
I used the Party Grill for the first time at the weekend.
I managed to cook about 16 burgers and 16 sausages in no time at all, was really impressed. Cleaning is easy (when you do it) as the fat drips to a collection under the flames into the water pit and it is easy to use. The canisters are cheaper than buying the equivilent number of portable BBQs
I am puzzled by this, is it a grill in the UK sense of the word - heat from above like you would use to make toast - what the septics would call broiling ?
or is it a heated plate/contact grill ?
if it is the latter why not just buy a grill plate and use it on a normal stove
