The texture takes a bit of getting used to at first, pat dry rather than rub dry if you know what I mean. However, they are very absorbent, and very quick drying, and packs down to hardly anything, so I would definitely recommend them.

I find that if you take a decent flannel (89p Dunelm Mill) which you wring out after your shower and wipe yourself down the microfibre towel is then perfect for that final dry. We also bought the £5 ones from ebay and love them

We just take good flannels which soon dry me (and I'm a very large adult!!)

They are easy to pack, take up very little space and dry extremely quickly.

Clare 2377, I got a couple of them at £1.99 each (bath size) from Wilkinsons in Barnsley - they had reduced them.  Have you tried the old focus store at Stairfoot because I think I have seen them in there too, although maybe not as cheap.

Oh thanks Denise - I tried Wilko's yesterday but they were £6 so I thought I'd shop around - also tried hmmmm forgot what its called Quality Save but they didn't have any.  I'll try the other places you mentioned thanks.

Was going to suggest quality save but you've already been, thats where i got mine last year. As already suggested try B&M at stairfoot or the one near focus at bottom of harbro hill (may still be called au natural but is part of b&m) i got a bath towel size from there last year for £3.

I can recommend the £5 Microfibre towels from Ebay. I was well impressed. I bought two and they are going with me this summer on my travels.
