Yes they are fine, but they need to be pretty level to work, & sometimes fridges don't like being moved around. Sometimes they need to stand a while before use to work properly. One problem is the door. Campping fridges usually have a top opening lid. This is to prevent the cold air spilling out when the door is opened. This means that this type work harder than a camping fridge when the door is opened a lot, as all the warm air needs to be cooled each time. Another factor is weight if it is one of those with a glass panel in the door.
