well, that depends how big you mean by a paddling pool!!! (with 10 people paddling, that is more of a lake!!)
i would say something less then 4' wide would be ok, no different to throwing a blanket down outside your tent! (dont know of anywhere that charges for blanket space - yet lol)
i think people have mentioned the rigid side foot high jobbies as pop up.

Funny this is something I've ummed & aahed about our two young kids could've really done with something when we were at Wooda last month but what do you do with the water afterwards - I was only planning a small inflatable walled one - some sites would probably frown upon it Im sure
we've used a small inflatable one without any problems before (but the kids get bored after an houre or so anyway, so it's not up for long...) We use a solar shower to fill it as the kids don't like the water too cold
we used to take a small paddling pool when they girls were little, never had a problem with not being allowed.

I've often taken a small paddling pool when the kids were small. As long as you use plain water it's fine to tip it out onto the grass at the end of the holiday.
In poundland they have tiny paddling pools , less than 3ft across, ideal for tots to cool off outside the tent, they could even have one each . also handy to bath them in , and being so small they dont take hours filling up either.
I would have thought a small kids blow up pool wouldn't cause any problems. We were at a site at the weekend and the people opposite had one for their tinies. They had a great time. The only problem it may cause some people, is the screaming that tends to go with small children and water!
we buy a cheap paddling pool and the kids love it, now they are older they use water guns and had hours of fun using them at the weekend, in fact all the kids young and old had great fun, a great way of coming together and they don't get bored after waiting for the pool to fill up.
water the kids love it, trying to hunt down a water slide that goes on the floor as i am sure the kids will have much fun sliding on it as that is what they used the paddling pool for.
Last year we were lucky enough to have a really hot week in july. I bought a small blow up beach dinghy like the children use, and filled that with water. It also doubles up as a play boat when actually on the beach.
