well, that depends how big you mean by a paddling pool!!! (with 10 people paddling, that is more of a lake!!)

i would say something less then 4' wide would be ok, no different to throwing a blanket down outside your tent! (dont know of anywhere that charges for blanket space - yet lol)

i think people have mentioned the rigid side foot high jobbies as pop up.

you can get this type all over the place, think mine was from 'the range', about £7

Funny this is something I've ummed & aahed about our two young kids could've really done with something when we were at Wooda last month but what do you do with the water afterwards - I was only planning a small inflatable walled one - some sites would probably frown upon it Im sure

we buy a cheap paddling pool and the kids love it, now they are older they use water guns and had hours of fun using them at the weekend, in fact all the kids young and old had great fun, a great way of coming together and they don't get bored after waiting for the pool to fill up.

water the kids love it, trying to hunt down a water slide that goes on the floor as i am sure the kids will  have much fun sliding on it as that is what they used the paddling pool for.
