Hey,

Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a camping fridge for around £50-70? There are a lot on the market and we would like to go for one that others have been pleased with.

At this stage it would only be used in the UK and would be able to run off a hook-up.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi, in reply to your post I cant really comment on whats best in the market I suppose it all depends on peoples needs and budget etc.... however as a fairly newbie to camping I decided to go for the cooler from our local Aldi store this is selling at £35 and is also 25 litre storage. I can only say it does what it says on the tin in so much it keeps your food/drinks cool. It runs off either the car 12v cigarette lighter socket or a normal 240v mains plug. Yes you can hear the fans whirring round but that was not a problem and at night time can be switched off as the outside temperature would be cool by then. The storage was ample for the usual stuff like pop, butter bacon, sausages, chops, milk etc and was used for the first time last weekend with no problems at all.

Hope this helps

Tony
