Hi
I have an Igloo Maxcold 70qt (66 ltr) wheeled cooler and a 70qt (66 ltr) Coleman Xtreme cooler for sale. Now, I was going to ebay them but they are a bit large for packing and shipping.. does anyone think it's worth advertising them on ebay for pickup only ? Or can anyone suggest a courier ?
Thanks

I guess it depends on which part of Scotland you are in. If it's remote then you are cutting down your potential market if you have it as collection only.
Thanks..
I'm in Glasgow.. but I see you are from Glossop, spooky I am originally from there.
Might give it a go with collection only, but I have looked at a few carriers.. I guess packing will be the hardest bit.
I'm just trying to recoup some of the cash we've spent on the Dometic!

Gosh! Whereabouts and how far back?
Interestingly, both my parents are from here but moved out to the Fylde coast when they married; and here am I back in the acestral home!!
Oh 20 years now, we're coming down to Hayfield C&CC site this weekend.. see some friends and family! Can't wait it still feels like home.. I miss those hills. Fingers crossed it won't be raining. LOL.
IMO it's the nicest part of the UK!

Thanks I let you know. Still to do pics and list it .. thing is we are away next week so I might have missed the nice weather / summer season. Been looking at all my camping gear and have found a few other things ( to my shame unused and brand new ) - a spare Outwell windbreak and a side canopy still unpacked. I really should have a clear out LOL.

If you put them on E bay, then use Interparcel for shipping, just wrap in bubble wrap and brown paper, they should be fine.
It should cost approx £8.20 for the 2 - 3 day service. I have used this company many times, they are an agent, we usually end up with DHL or Fedex collecting the parcel.
Really good and cheap service, they will deliver up to 20 kilos for that price!

That's really good info, I really appreciate it as a personal recommendation is worth a great deal. Thank you.
ps I was thinking bubble wrap and then a really tough rubble sack taped down tightly, might be a bit tougher than brown paper.
