Can anyone recommend a low level fold up table suitable for upto 4 people?  I've looked everywhere and can only get very small, very large or non foldable.   Also, I don't want to spend a fortune.  Can anyone recommend one and where I can get it from please?  Thankyou. Ali

Hi

Home & Bargain sell a white foldable plastic table for £7.99 - its very similar to the green version on sale in Argos for £12.99.

Used it for a weekend camp - perfect for eating at and for using for food prep.

Hope its helps

Regards

Craine

I have 2 folding tables, bought from Woolies but they do them in Argos for less than £15 each. There's 4 of  us and we can sit round one table and eat comfortably. The legs fold up into the base of the table so the whole thing's flat for easy storage. and it's light to carry. The table is 60 x 40 cms which isn't massive but certainly big enough for the 4 of us.

If your going to spend under £30 on a folding table - then please expect it to -

1 wobble a bit

2 not last long

and 3 - not be so big

-----------------

Tesco has a decent folding table with rubbish folding stools reduced from £30 to £22 I think -

But if  were you - I would just buy a good table - expect to pay £40-£50

your get what you pay for im afraid........

We got a nice one from Halfords, which has four stools inside.    The stools are separate to the table - not the all in ones.    Think we paid £40 in the sale.   Even Richard will use the stool, where as he would rarely use the all in one that we used to have.

I have this one!

374

Its brill for 4 people with full size dinner plates and still some space. The legs twist off half way so it can also become a low/coffee table if wanted. Also there are levellers on the feet. It folds in half and has a carry handle, the legs twist off and click in underneath. Its really sturdy, not too heavy and really nice sized table for actually dining at.

Its made by quest and cost about £45. I have had mine 3 years with no problems and I use it ALOt, not just when camping.

You can buy it here http://www.hitch-n-pitch.co.uk/acatalog/Tables.html but may be available a bit cheaper if you shop around.

Not sure what you're doing with yours Simon but I'been using my cheap fold up ones for several years and they've doubled up as art tables in the garden for the kids in the summer holidays. Yes they wobble a bit but they have certainly lasted!

I posted this a while back http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=6&TopicID=189899&get=last#2841332

I paid £22.50 (tesco) for a folding table and four stools which all pack away nicely. Table is suitable for most uses but the stools are probably only good enough for kids.

I'd certainly recomend it.

thanks everyone - love the table in the pic from Littlelemon - wil look for one of those me thinks as wanting one that's quite low, coffee table style.  We already have a standard size folding table but felt a lower one would suit us for when we're not eating and just for drinks.

Cheers again everyone.
