I have been looking at buying a roof box but i don't have the storage space for it. I have come across inflatable roof bars and a holdall, has anyone got these, i want to know what they are like before i by them, can't find any reviews on the internet.
HI , We have got the handirack and holdall , must admit I was a bit sceptical at first but must say I can't fault it. Used it for a 800 mile round trip to Normandy and had no problems at all. It is also easy to store when youre not using it .
I have just found a major problem with mine on a particularly wet two hour journey. It leaked in through the top of evry door where the straps had passed through!!!! I am soaked!!!!!

Try folding the blue/back triangular bit back on itself leaving only the black adjustable webbing strap in the door. That's the only problem with the system we've found, the holdall isn't waterproof!!

I know you say you haven't got room to store it but maybe this is an idea for you. You must store your camping gear somewhere so how about storing some of your gear inside it and storing the roof box in that space? Thats what I do, all the chairs, windbreaks etc, as much as I can get in it including the roof bars!
We use ours regulaly and (touch wood) not a problem so far. We don't have enough room either to store stuff and these fold away quite small. Don't do what we did on our first try, we put stuff in it first and then tried to lift it onto the car...DumbX2
