We use the ice packs/ice boards and have our name on them, we recently spent a week in Cornwall and had no problems, just swapped them over every morning. For keeping beer and wine cool we use a large bucket (we call it the cocktail cabinet) filled with cold water and keep it in the shade, works a treat and if the water starts to go warm just top it up with more cold water.

I quite like just chucking a bag of supermarket ice in. Generally a quid a pop and saves hassle and stressing about whether or not the site will have a freezer.

If you need to keep stuff dry, put the ice or the stuff in a lunchbox.
