Just been to Ikea to top up on stuff for the tent. I came across some brilliant bags in the family IKEA part (that area they push the ikea card with weird combination of doorstops, fluorescent jackets and laptop bags).

Basically reasonable size duffle bags with handles and shoulder straps BUT the can fold in on themselves in to the pocket to make a really small pouch for storage. Can't find the receipt, but they were £4 or £5.

Going by the floor tiles for size, they look as if they would make really good replacement tent bags.

Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.

I see an Ikea trip coming up. Daughter loves Ikea - so do her children, or is the Ikea breakfast they like!!  I like your picture and these are just what we need plus some of their storage baskets or nets.

The bag has all our blanket/throws/sheets for the airbeds. We've 3 single airbeds and have 3 Ikea fleecy blankets (130x170) per airbed (one for under, one for over and one as a blanket or sitting out in the cold. It took a bit of careful packing but bag in the photo has 9 fleeces and 3 sheets in it!

That looks absolutely fab! I've been looking for cheapish hold alls as we just have suitcases which are a bit naff for packing into the car when you've got a boot full of camping gear. But all we've been able to find is bags ranging from £10 upwards, not good when you need 5 or 6. I see a trip to ikea coming on! Ooooh I'll be able to get a hot dog too

Awesome - We've been thinking about some new holdalls which are cheap & cheerful!

Meatballs & chips, anyone?
