Hello we've bought an Outwell Hartford XL tent from Ebay I can't find anywhere on the tag that is attached to the handle or the fold out instruction inside the bag as to what year it is and we want to buy a carpet for it.  Does anyone know how I can find out the year, or will a 2009 carpet fit all?

you need to look at the front door,if it has an arch rather than a semi circle then its after 2008 the 2008 onwards have a arch at the front.the measurements are slightly different if i'm correct.

Do the poles go on the outside of the tent? or do you have to pitch the inner then the outer tent? We have a 2008 model with poles on the outside and believe that a 2009 carpet will fit okay - can you chech the dimensions of the living area anywhere? eg the Outwell site?

We've not had it up yet as we only got it last week....we're waiting for a footprint to arrive before we go and do a test pitch.  I do know from the instructions though that you pitch the inner first.  The measurements on the carry bag say at the widest points its 410cm by 300cm.

Must be 2007 or before can you search on ebay for that particular carpet?

yeh innners are def b4 2008, we have the 2008 model and ours are intergrated
