Used a Coleman Quickbed for the first time a few weeks ago for 6 nights, I'm 18st and never had to top it up at all.

My wife has got a Gelert and that didn't need topping up either.

We have also got two Thermarest mats, but the airbeds gave us the best nights sleep we've ever had camping, so it's horses for courses as far as choice is concerned.

I have a Coleman Comfort single airbed, I'm 9st and only have to top up the air every 4 days or so. My husband and boys have blue airbeds bought from Argos and have to top theirs up every day. I love my Coleman - it's soooo comfy.

I'm on my third airbed and have just bought a Coleman double (with two separate sections).  Was worried about going away for a week without testing it but feel reassured by the comments on here.

Pride comes before a fall and all that!

We used to have the blue flocked ones which would need toppoing up every other day.

Now got the red and blue ones from Argos and after 6nights seemed to be exactly the same as when we pumped it up, which takes alot less time than blue flocked ones, plus they have a small pillow section in them.

I haven't tried any of the expensive ones as weve found the red/blue ones to be fine.
