Visited a great camping store at the weekend and around their display tents, they had this great rubbery matting - presumably for stopping mud and water being dragged into their tents (prevent slipping too). I thought it would actually be pretty useful to have some for our tent but have no idea what it's called or where I can get it. Didn't occur to me at the time to ask at the shop!

Any suggestions about this, or anything else I could use.

Debby

Maybe they were using something like these:

http://www.outdoorworld.co.uk/kampa-easy-locking-floor-tiles-4pk-p-2405.html

We use them in our Caravan awning - and they are FAB!  Really lightweight, easy to clip together - they cope with undulations in the ground no problem - insulate against wet and cold and stop foresty-stuff getting traipsed into the caravan!  Oh and they don't kill the grass either.

We have about 40 of them (HUGE awning LOL) and keep them in a big blue IKEA bag when not in use.

We got ours from Discover - but they are out of stock at the moment.  i think we paid about £10 for 4.

If it's the rubber tiles - you can get them in Aldi and Lidl (cheaper) --- Aldi had them a couple of weeks back, so wont be around in there for awhile now

I bought 6 rubber mats, with hexagonal holes, from Tesco. They cost about £3.00 each and live  in my Berlingo (3 in the boot area and one in each of the rear footwells and one in the passenger footwell)

They will be used outside and inside the sun porch of our Kyham Ontario 8 to hopefully stop a muddy puddle forming by the zip opening.
