I could do with some of those so I'm off to Asda tomorrow morning. I hope they don't sell out before I get there.

Just come back from Asda in Fareham and they had quite a few left! So hopefully you'll be okay, in your local one

I agree one cannot have too many fleece blankets around the house or when camping. I probably need to wrap myself in one on top of the dressing gown to and from the shower block in winter!!!

a good idea is to place a fleece blanket under the sleeping mat/sleeping bag when you go to sleep.they are suppose to be excellent for stopping cold from the ground creeping up through the mat and bag,and cooling the body.

Hi,like you i like the idear of having fleece blankets to put over the kids ready beds if it gets cold at night, but my two are fidgets during the night 3 & 4yrs and i was worried the blankets would keep slipping of the top of their ready beds, but i found the solution, thay are called fleece snuggle sacks, they look the same as sleeping bags, and i thought i could puy them inside their readybed and if its too hot i can always unzip the top quilt of their beds knowing their are still all zipped up nice and snug inside the fleece sack.

Sounds lovely
I have been looking at the fitted fleece under blankets, that were recommended in a thread I was reading. They're from dunelm and look just the ticket to put on the airbed just under the fitted sheet.
I think i'll be investing.... Not just yet though I've spend about £500 on our first camping trip! I thought this was cheap when I first had the idea! LOL
I'm sure it'll be worth it!

Once you have amassed your equipment, it *should* become cheaper, just don't wander into camping shops online or physically!
I discovered during my last trip that if I put the fleece blanket between the flat sheet and the sleeping bag cum duvet, then it was less likely to slip off the sleeping bag in the middle of the night, doh!

Definitely live and learn!
As the others have said, there is always something that you need/want/whatever, just like clothes/accessories/gadgets for other people

Dunelm Mill have fabulous big fleece blankets at £3.99. They wash beautifully but the ones I have in the van can be wiped clea very easily - great when the dog gets muddy pawprints all over them.

I've been into Primark this morning and brought 4of these in black (£1.96 each and loads of different colours available) Ideal for camping or picnics - I think they're brilliant.
