I see  your predicament there tourle.Sorry to kndave for hijacking your thread.Are your mirrors new?We have a set and havent experienced this happening.I think it says in the instructions not to moisten the mirror or cup anyway.How about moistening with a bit of deicer at least that would'nt freeze.Might be worth a try.

Another thing i try not to do is have the mirrors as far out as possible from the end of your door mirror.This reduces the wind resistance on the sucker.This will depend on the width of your van compared to your towing vehicle though.

When you say they wouldn't stick, do you mean they wouldn't stick at all, or did they come unstuck after a short period of time?
