This recall appears to have been in place for some considerable months. It's only when I come to buy a Thule roof bike carrier that I'm made aware of it and found out that my car (3069 kit for the 04 Mondeo) is affected by these 'faulty' bolts.
Is there no other way of making this more publically aware? Surely it should just be a case of registering the product online, then you automatically receive such updates?
