Anyone know where I obtain the metal feet/pads that attach to the corner steadies on caravan / folding campers / trailer tents.They must be the metal ones as I've tried the plastic and they are not man enough ?

Hi,

Do you mean your cracking them, your not lifting a wheel of the ground by them, to get it level?. Not sure how you'd damage them.

In reply to the answers, the set that I bought were of the plastic variety and bend on the extreme edges, if I were to put down blocks as at present I do then I would be defeating the object of having to bend down to place the blocks under the steadies. They do make the metal variety but I am having trouble sourcing this type. And in reply to andy2244 no I do not raise the camper with the steadies.

I use a short length of 4x2 under each stabiliser & one under the jockey. One of them came in very handy on the way home several times, we had 3 punctures over the years & the trolley jack wouldn't go under the axle with a flat tyre. I drove forward a little pulling the flat tyre upon a piece of the wood, the jack then fitted no problem. Dual purpose, very cheap & easy to replace.
