sorry guys, me again, cheers again for all the advice I've been given, will def be able to put it to good use! Having received great advice on fridges and how to put up my tent, I would like to pick your collective brains on a choice of stove.
I am a bit of a reborn camper, I used to be into all of the outdoor stuff a few years ago when I was in my teens, and was a bit obsessed with the weight of my gear then. As a result am still using my old trangia stove and a gas stove which is the tiny backpacker type, folding out into a little tripod and folding back up into the size and weight of a 2p coin lol, it also makes the same noise as a welders torch!
I was going to buy the gas attachment for the trangia, but at 35 quid I reckon this is steep and would be better to put towards a newbie, 2 burner affair, and dump the tripod thing, plus you cant buy replacement, non stick pans for the trangia, only the frying pan.
Anyway, would appreciate people's recommendations on this, would like quite a robust job with plenty of heat and a low boiling time, have looked at the coleman 2 burner petrol affair, which looks good, but what do others think of it? Is this a safe option given that Ive got a four year old running around?
Weight no longer is an issue, as everything no longer has to fit into a rucksac and be the size and weight of an atom.
Also, when it rains is it safe enough to cook food in the living area of my bispace 500 that I've recently acquired?
