Hi Tina , its easy to run 2 cookers off one bottle all you need is a T-piece and two quick release couplings http://www.continentalproduct.co.uk/page.php?pid=productView&productid=341&resultsView=&catid=48&subcatid=&manid=&searchtext=&resultsPage=3
You take a qtr of a mtr of gas hose from the regulator to the T-piece and then connect a mtr of hose to each side of the T-piece to connect to each stove. If you put a quick release coupling in each of the mtr lenghts it will make things a lot easier and safer for yourself , as you don't need to keep undoing the jubilee clips therefore elimanating the risk of gas leaks.
The other thing I would consider buying is the Kampa roast master it is a fantastic bit of kit even for just four of us , having an oven makes a huge difference even if it is only just for keeping food warm while you are cooking the rest of the meal . I would even go as far as saying you would probarly get away with just buying one of those and not having to buy 2 double burners , it will happily accomodate a large frying pan and saucepan at the same time.
Personally Tina I wouldn't want petrol or any other flammable liquids around a tent or children , elimanating as many chances of disaster as possible is the safest option even with a utility tent.
