Hi. I was looking at that too, as well as a British Army version, but I'm too chicken to shell out the cash in case it turns out to be either a waste of money, or massive overkill. If you do take the plunge, I'd be interested to know what it's like when it's raining outside, and the wind chill is vicious !

I'm also looking at the US army bag. It is expensive, but should last me the rest of my camping days (and nights)

I have a Vango Astral 350 XL 2/3 season 64 oz but I was cold last Sunday night when I used it for the first time. I ended up adding an old Argos bag unzipped over the top, and was then really warm. The second night I used both again, and woke up sweating and had to get rid of the top cover. I just bought my wife a Lichfield Hurricane Super 350 2/3 season 100 oz the same extra large size bag that is identical except much thicker, and that looks like it will be a lot warmer. Bit of a bargain at £20
