Hi All,

A newbie here so go easy!

Just getting back into tent camping after a gap of about 10 yrs!

Thinking of going away this weekend with the wife and little lads and just want to check i've not forgotten anything - which im sure i have!

Im thinking:

- Tent

- Stove/Trangia and fuel

- Rollmats / airbeds

- Sleeping bags

- Torches and lanterns

- Aqua roll / water carrier

- Folding chairs

- Plates, pots and utensils

- Washing up bowl

- 'Consumables' - i.e. washing up liquid and clothes, bin bags, loo rolls etc

Anything else obvious missed off??

All help greatly received!

Spare batteries and cable ties!  I used cable ties to secure my UFO LED lights inside the tent and plenty of spare batteries for the camera, lights etc.

Spare towels?  Picnic blankets to put on the floor?

Hi 1982 & welcome to the forum 17

If you use airbeds, you will need a fleece blanket to put on top of each one, otherwise your sleeping bags will be damp from condensation in the mornings.

Table? Also I'd advise you to take a bucket with a lid to save having to get dressed & trudge to the toilet block in the middle of the night. Just a drop of Zoflora or other disinfectant in the bottom, then empty it in the morning.
