Im also looking for these and the cheapest ive seen them are £14.99 in matalan.. hope this helps.
Yes that's a good help, thanks. It'll save £20.
I begrudge paying a lot for something we might or might not need. We're off to sister in laws cottage in France soon for a long weekend. She said bring a waterproof jacket hence the search.
make a decision about how waterproof you need it, before buying.
There's a big difference between 'showerproof' (which my kids' pac-a-mac are) and real waterproof!
When we were away last week, we NEEDED waterproof. The boys' macs were getting damp on the inside some days (luckily, they wore fleeces underneath anyway) but our 'proper' rainmacs from Yeoman's stood up to every drop of rain and torrential downpour our delightful British weather threw at them.
We needed 4. I bought 2 'proper' ones (adult) and begrudged paying £15-20 each for the boys too, knowing they'd be outgrown (which ours won't)
Having trialled the cheaper ones, I'm now considering proper ones for them too. They will be outgrown but the youngest will, in a couple of years, grow into the eldest's too.
Just depends how much waterproof-ness you need, obviously

should add, I bought the boys' ones from Ebay. They're Ladybird brand. I didn't find many adult varieties though!

Tj hughes up here had cheap generic pac-a-mac type kagools for under a fiver and some reasonable looking regatta waterproof jackets for less than 20GBP - if you have one nearby might be worth a try
local army surplus is usually a good place to try as well
