hi one and all, first post on here ,however i have been on the site for a couple of weeks now and like all the tips etc you give each other, im am wanting your help!!!!!!!!!! does anyone know if the colman 250 canister is the correct one for the primuss 2222 old stove i know but told very good at the job it was made for thanks in advance trev
Hi, I have recently been given one of these stoves. It is fantastic looking! Mine has never been used and came with an original primus gas canister. In the instuctions it said to use Primus 2202 or 2201 canisters. I found an old stove collectors forum and they told me to use the 2202 canisters which apparently are still available. I have yet to find out where from though! The canister I have can also be used to refill cigarette lighters it says. It screws into the stove. I have yet to try it as I wanted to get another canister for it. If you have any luck, please let me know and vice versa. I'm away for a couple of weeks but will do some more research when I get back! Good luck!
Spudz, you must have been writing your post at the the same time as me! Just clicked on your link and there I am! That was the site I meant. Does anybody know where primus canisters can be bought. I can't find anywhere near me (bedfordshire). Thanks
hi all thanks for your replys, i have picked the primus up today from the father in laws, it has a colman 250 self sealing and an EPL 250 cartridge fitted so all is good for the planned trip to Paignton thanks again. hope this helps kerryemp
