Have you also asked this question on Classic Camp Stoves ?

Looks like Primus gas canisters will work, but generic ones might be too tall.

Hi, I have recently been given one of these stoves. It is fantastic looking! Mine has never been used and came with an original primus gas canister. In the instuctions it said to use Primus 2202 or 2201 canisters. I found an old stove collectors forum and they told me to use the 2202 canisters which apparently are still available. I have yet to find out where from though! The canister I have can also be used to refill cigarette lighters it says. It screws into the stove.  I have yet to try it as I wanted to get another canister for it. If you have any luck, please let me know and vice versa. I'm away for a couple of weeks but will do some more research when I get back! Good luck!

Spudz, you must have been writing your post at the the same time as me! Just clicked on your link and there I am! That was the site I meant. Does anybody know where primus canisters can be bought. I can't find anywhere near me (bedfordshire). Thanks
