 Help please!

It seems that I am slowly amassing a collection of folding chairs none of which is comfortable for more than a few minutes. We have the usual green jobs that you put in a carry bag and sling over your shoulder, plus some "moon" chairs and some plastic folding dining room type chairs. Does anyone know where I can get a couple of really comfortable  folding chairs that won't cost me the earth?

Thanks

Bert

We are thinking of getting Outwell Club Chair Deluxe, they seem really comfy and are on offer for £18 at Go Outdoors, can't find them cheaper anywhere else. Not sure which table to get to fit four underneath though!!

Glad we're not the only ones-we've got 9 chairs and there's only 4 of us!! The upright/recliner type seem to be the fave at the moment-at least we can reach the table now!!

No, but I will have a look out for you. I don't get on well with them either. The last one broke!

I think the 5.99 specials that you can pick up in supermarkets and service stations are pretty uncomfortable after a while. Better to spend £15-20 and get a decent brand. I have an Outwell (not the deluxe one) and spent most of this weekend sitting very comfortably in it at a festival. OH has an Easycamp deluxe one which has a cushioned head rest and is even comfier, although I find it a little low. He spent most of the weekend having to turf other people out of it.

Many thanks everyone. I have opted for the Vango Corona. At £51 for two it's a little more than I wanted to pay but after spending nearly an hour on line trying to buy EasyCamp High Backs amongst others I realised there's not a lot of stock out there for the £20-£40 range of chairs. Off to Cornwall at the end of the month, just hope they're as comfy as they look.

Bert.

Went to Cornwall at the beginning of the month - hope you get better weather than we did.  Have recently purchased new chairs from Jacksons (Quest, Sandringham).  They were about £34 each and are very comfortable - they come with a removable 'head cushion'.  So far, we're really pleased with them.

Having no chairs this year as last years went mouldy in the shed, the £10 folding types...

So nipped to asda and bought TWO for £30 padded chair/sun lounger! converts to sun lounger!   used it for around 2 week in southport and abegele and found it excellent!

I have a cheapie out of Asda from a few years back, does me fine. Hubby has a disability and finds it hard to get comfortable for very long. We looked round Go Outdoors and all the "good" ones were like £80!! In the end we went to Tesco and got a reclinable chair with footrest reduced to £14.71..lol.
