Hi Mary
Thanks for getting back to me, I have the 122 as well I just realised I had written 142 by mistake.
I have seen your frame and cover advertised but can you tell me is it purely a frame ?? is there anything to hold in the goodies other than the cover ??
Your brothers idea sounds great, I dont suppose he has any pictures you could post so I could see what he has done.
Thanks,
Paul.

Hi Paul
Check out http://www.indespension.co.uk/old-website/frames.html
This shows the Daxara range of accessories ( Daxara is the sister company to Erde).
There is a 30cm frame/cover assy available for the Daxara 127 (Erde 122 Equivalent)
I too have an Erde 122 (wish I'd got the 142 now) with the ABS hard-top which adds a fair bit of space and I'm considering adding the load bars to the top of it and then buying a roof-box.
I'm beginning to think that it'd be more cost effective to hire the services of a removal company for our camping trips !!

hi paul its me again,
right, the frame sits on the trailer and the cover goes over and the elastic from the cover attaches to the trailer, now you might already know this but even though you might think its not good enough it is.
my hubby and I fill the trailer then add the frame, then he fills that to breaking point lol. Then he puts the cover on and once the elastic is attached to the trailer theres no moving it.
As for my bro in laws, well I think its a great idea and much much cheaper too!!
ours was about 90 quid, and his was less than a tenner lol including the tarpaulin! I will see if he will get it out for me to take a pic with my digi camera. But it wont be till the weekend because he's working all week, so as soon as i can I will. But its great cos the frame interlocks and he said it was really easy to make too!
