Just tried out a Netto fire log - only £1.99 and burned very well but only lasted for just over an hour though the packet said 2 hours. Well worth buying though IMO - I'm off to get a few more tomorrow.

Are the crackle logs log shaped thinks that you set alight to the paper on the outside and they burn for 2 hours?

If the are then they are also known as fire logs which are available in most supermarkets by the firelighters and matches (black outer paper look like This).

I don't know how much they are from supermarkets as I buy mine from Home Bargains for £1.99 and use them in the fire pit.

Just thought that it would give you another avenue to explore
