Hello, we have an old bradcot awning (1994 approx), bought it with the van.  One of the poles has a twiddly pole that moves about.  This is acheived I think by a small ball joint inside the little pole.  The small screw keeping this ball joint in situ has become stripped of its thread, and as a result, wont stay in place, preventing us using this pole and therefore unable to use the awning.  ( a bit rubbish when your teenager sleeps in the awning).  All advice appreciated.

ps, is there any chance bradcot may still have this type of attatchment available?

hi bunnyrabbits  try araldite epoxy resin adhesive to glue the screw into the ball, just make sure that their is no oil or grease on either piece & leave it to cure somewhere warm over night.
