 It all frightens me to death,i have read all the threads over the past couple of weeks on what and what not to get on EHU s,i have been thinking of getting an ehu ,but what do i go for, and where,orange or blue cable? e-bay or Towsure ? can anyone recommend any ehu,s which are legal and whithin the regulations

There are no regulations that specify what an EHU used for camping should consist of, perhaps if there were there would not be so much confusion. 

There are are however regulations that apply to caravans.

Hi all

Reversed polarity and RCD's some cheaper plug in rcds only switch the live Phase lead if the polarity is reversed all that as happened is that the neutral as been disconnected.

I have mixed up the operational flaw of the cheaper plug in type with the proper mounted RCD.

Similarly when reading an article on RCD's they went on to trip times read carefully after the hoo haa here it does say MCB's.

Be safe buy a decent ehu froma reputable source
