Hi!
This weekend we're at the Cirencester Park CC site. Apparently TV reception there is poor, and there are TV sockets on the hook up bollards. What wire do I need for this? I've bought a normal male to male TV extension lead. Is that sufficient? I don't want to open the packaging to find that it isn't as I won't then be able to return it!
Thanks for your help again.

You will need a coax to coax lead with the same connections as would fit into the back of the TV so I presume that is considered a male plug end. Most Caravan Club sites with TV hook ups sell the leads at reception, usually about £12/15 and25 mts long to cover all eventualities. Unless it has changed recently not all sites with TV hook ups have a digital connection so you may have to put up with analogue signals.

Just been to CC Centenary site in the New Forest where reception is claimed to be 'not good' , bloke next door bought a lead, I just used the Status aerial on the van and got perfect reception on digital. Maybe you won't need one!!

And get a little female-female coax cable connector at the same time. That way, whatever the output/input sockets, you're covered.

I did ask my OH to make a lead up, but apparently he's too busy. I'll take my 15m cable in it's wrapping just in case. If the aerial on the roof works, great, if not at least I have an option and I can examine the post to see what is there!
