Hi,

we have just come back off holiday, and for the first couple of days we had hot water coming through ,

however, we now switch on the heater button, but still not getting any hot water,

have tried the trouble shooting, but unable to fix,

is there a way to reset it,

i dont think it was on with out any water being in tank, but couldnt swear to it.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

Get in touch with Garry off here, he sorted our carver cascade 2, if you do a google search for carver cascade 2 service you should also find him, ARC systems in nottingham i believe, highly recommended by us

if the water is running from the tap but not getting hot by the electric try gas.if not getting hot with gas.check the battery first as this is required to ignite it.do not forget to remove the cover outside for gas.if it gets hot with gas then the electric element has gone and needs replacing.if the heater is not getting water it will not operate.could be a non return valve fault.check the rear for a reset button.failing this contact truma by email for support.thought!!! is the drain valve shut?

Could you tell us what make/model of water heater it is .
