Hi, I'm considering buying a Kingfisher Rechargeable Lantern/Light with remote control and wondered if anyone has one of these?  I need something with good long life after being recharged using cigarette lighter in the car or with batteries as we are going to stay in a pod in December and will need alot of power for the early nights.  Apparently we will have no access to any electricity points and need 3 long nights worth of power.

Does anyone have one of these and can comment or can anyone recommend anything better?  The one I'm looking at is available as a 'buy-now' on E-bay from a reputable seller.

I have one of these, bought from local co-op at beginning of the year, I like it, but have only ever charged it up before we have left home, we have only done 2 nights max camping at a time and it was charged enough for us, i love the remote control...i leave the lantern in the living area, get into bed and when im ready just hit the switch on the remote....

i would imagine that car charging would be ok, not sure how long u would need to charge it for though
