Can any body tell me if these roof boxes are any good. I am about to buy a 415ltr and thought i would ask the experts first.

They give it 6.5 out of 10.

There are loads of different sellers of this box. Just google autoplas roof box.

It appears you can buy unassembled or assembled. From my experience of building them from an unassembled state when I worked for Halfords, they should be easy to assemble but it is easier if there are two of you to do it although can be done by yourself.

They look to be no differnt in construction to the other budget roof boxes out there. Even Tesco are selling them!

I have one, and had to put it together at home.

Had no problems with it, and have used it a few times and taken it to France about 4 times.

Sturdy and safe.

Got one, put it together myself with a bit of help from the neighbour as he felt sorry for me for taking so long to put it together!

Used it with Mont Blanc roof bars for 3 trips so far.

Not exactly the best looking roof box, however, for that price, it is sturdy and safe, does a good job, so IMHO, good value for money.
