Hello all we recently had our 1st camping trip which we thoroughly enjoyed, made sure tent, kit etc were great but run out of money when it came to sleeping bags(who said camping is cheap lol)  so took blankets from home and didn't keep me toasted.

Here's the tricky bit i sleep with a pillow between my bent knees (health problem) also have to turn over every hourish ,want to get lots of snuggles in with chunky hunky hubby but assuming a standard bag won't give me the room without knees in his back?    any ideas

Try THESE, we got two, if you unzip them they're massive, we used one on top of the airbed and the other as a duvet cover, they're very comfy and warm and you can also zip two together to make an extra large double if you prefer.

I make the bed proper, thermal underblanket, flanelette sheet, feather 13.5 tog duvet, fleece blankets on top and not forgetting the hot water bottle to take the chill off before I get in - No probs!!

Tried sleeping bags zipped together and singularly - never again, been camping this way for 14 years and sleep better in the tent than at home!

We have two of these. They are very comfy and warm and very wide. We did zip them together and you get a lovely sized double but have kept them single so not to invade each others space.

We have these, same as as Surfspud above and think they are fab.  I also sleep with a pillow between my knees to help my back and no problem with the size of these bags.
