We have just bought a 12v/240 tv 15 inch combi our freeview packed up in the old combi we had, In this tv it has built in freeview, dvd player scart connection all sorts of things and i think this picture is much clearer than the last tv(that was part of the package for a new caravan so was probably a cheap one,
This one i have just bought off ebay for 199.00 with a much higher rrp, took it to the van last week end and we are so impressed with it we are glad we bought it.
Generally speaking, a combination unit is false economy, albeit you may save on space/cabling. Effectively, when one of the components, whether it be the TV, DVD or FreeView receiver, go pop and beyond economical repair you have to throw two perfectly components away.
------------- Please do not adjust your mind... there is a fault in reality
Well said titang, and probley explains why there are very few integrated satellite TV's, and not a single intergrated Sky+ Satellite TV, I have known some Sky+ Box's that have only just lasted a year!. imagine that embeeded into your 42" Sony Bravia!
Comet, 15" lcd, with freeview,DVD,loads of sockets to connect different ways 240v/12v £109 with 3 year warranty, you have 3 years to go, if one component fails after that time you've had your moneys worth..
------------- Doing as little as possible for as much as possible...
