We recently changed vans and the 'new to us' has a 530.
So far it has not let us down. We recently revisited a site on which the old 315 would not work.
We used to take a mini high gain and a pole.
The 530 was pointed in the general direction of every one elses and worked no problem.
We are using the same tv and freeview box by the way.
I think however that if my van didnt have an aerial at all, I would dig the mini high gain and pole out of the shed and use that!
That Never let me down!
