Hiya,
We bought the above tent a few months back and had our first ever camping trip over the bank holiday. Loved it!
Anyway, we purchased the tent from Go-Outdoors on Amazon (they had sold out in store). We didn't get chance to have a practise pitch. So our weekend away was our first pitch. It's complete apart from the two strips of material which have the storage pockets on. This extra storage was one of swaying factors of why we chose this tent.
I messaged Go-Outdoors web team when we returned home and recieved a swift reply informing that they would order in the missing parts and dispatch them asap. Great! Just what we wanted. As of this morning we'd still not recieved anything or heard anymore on the matter despite emailing them numerous times.
I sent another email this morning and have now had a reply. Here it is:
Dear "*"*"*,
please accept our apologies for the long delay. unfortunately we are unable to despatch the missing items for the Zenobia 6 as the tent has now sold out and we do not have any spare parts. if you would like to return your tent for a full refund please lets us know when we can arrange a courier collection for you. we are sorry for any inconvenience that has been caused.
kind regards GO Outdoors web team
Hmmm I supose it's fair they have offerred a refund and to pay for the courier but we don't want to return it! We love it! We just want it to have the parts it's suposed to have lol!
What would you advise? Write/email Go-Outdoors head office and explain?
Surely they must have tent returns somewhere which would have the parts we are missing/need in them going spare?
I did wonder though, if the reply I have recieved today was just sent to get me off their back. They can't be bothered to source the parts. Easiest to just refund? Just a thought that though!
Flippin typical for us this lol.
Appreciate any ideas <[;0)x
------------- I wanna be a good camper I do!
