For anyone in the need of an inflatable bed, Aldi are currently offering the Intex Queensize with built in pillows for £29.99. It comes complete with a built in 240V pump which you can also use to deflate it and a bag with shoulder strap. We own the same bed and think it is wonderful. I suffer from a bad back but have no problem with the Intex which sits almost 20 inches off the ground. The cheapest I found it on Ebay was £39.99 so worth seeking out if you are in the hunt for a new bed.

This is an excellent bed... got one in the same deal at Aldi last year and used it for our camping trips this year. It's very sturdy and doesn't bounce your partner around when you get in and out of it.

Also bought an inverter and an extention lead so i could inflate it via the car cig lighter

Yes we bought an inverter just in case EHU wasn't available, was a bit worried in case it had to be one of those expensive "pure sine wave" jobbies to work with the Intex but no problems it worked just fine. I used an air-bed many years ago when camping with my mum and dad (now deceased) but this is just light years ahead, they would have loved it.

Its a cracking bed.  I have only just ventured into the wonderful world of camping and this is the bed i decided to get.  Very comfortable and very quick to inflate/deflate.
